Today’s post is a little different, as I will be promoting an event that I cannot wait to attend and that any of you are welcome to attend. If you love cake, clothing and competition, then this is the perfect event for you.
Some of you might have heard of the Croydon-based urban fashion brand, Mula Cake. Mula Cake will be hosting a bake-off in their showroom, which also happens to be the Lives Not Knives unit where I spend a lot of my time.
The bake-off will start at 1pm and all you have to do is donate at least £1 to taste as much delicious cakes as you like and then vote to decide the winning baker. Sounds great right?
However, it gets even better, because you will able to watch the competing bakers decorate a plain cake in front of your very eyes. The founder and CEO of Mula Cake Clothing, Dexter Simms, is really excited to see that his brand can make so many people smile without them even having to buy clothes. Isn’t that sweet?
Everyone will have the opportunity to hear the winner announced at 3:15pm, when they will receive a prize that will enable them to become a part of the growing Mula Cake Brand, and your host for the day will be Aaron Roach Bridgeman from SBTV.
There will not only be cakes available, but the full range of Mula Cake Clothing will be also be on sale. Personally, I want to get my hands on some of that Mula Cake Clothing, because their tops are very appealing to the eye. I love something that pops and their bright, cropped, boxy T-shirts definitely pop.
So get down to the Mula Cake HQ on bank holiday Monday for an afternoon to enjoy. As Dexter says, “Don’t be left cakeless”.
